Collaborative Services Toolbox
The Collaborative Services resources support providers to:
- Explore how inclusion can be imagined in community programs.
- Learn how providers from multiple settings across public and private sectors can collaborate to provide services for children diagnosed with disabilities in multiple settings.
- Structure service delivery models with personnel to support children and providers given allotted resources.
-
Communities and community inclusion teams are urged to develop coaching pbc to grow inclusion and belonging across settings. The goal is to build the capacity of all providers in the community to have the confidence, competence, skill set and efficacy to meet the diverse needs of all children. Research reminds us that the highest leverage professional development we can offer is coaching. We encourage a collaborative, research-based, Practice-based Coaching (PBC) model to support all staff with ongoing, targeted, professional development for inclusion and belonging of children with disabilities. Tools to support the PBC process are included in this tab. Additionally, the Pivotal Practices tool is included as a tool for what PBC should focus on. PBC is HOW coaching is done and Pivotal Practices are WHAT coaching is used on. Many of the resources associated with this project are adapted from the materials on the Practice Based Coaching website associated with the Head Start ECLKC- Early Childhood Learning and Knowledge Center.
